Ed founded Kelvin Cooperage in 1963 in Scotland and has been a cooper for more than forty-five years. His years of experience with the whole range of cooperage products, distilled spirits, and wine
afford him a unique perspective on the modern cooperage industry. Ed has consistently combined traditional methods with the best of modern advances to continuously improve the Kelvin product. Ed

Kevin McLaughlin
Kevin also served his apprenticeship
in Scotland. Kevin has managed Kelvin's Louisville facility since it opened in 1991. Kevin received his bachelor's degree from Pepperdine University where he
was the captain of Pepperdine's
championship golf team. Kevin can

Paul McLaughlin
Paul joined the family business
in June of 2001. As with his brother,
Paul has been around barrels
all his life. Paul's focus with Kelvin is on serving Kelvin's wine
barrel clientele. Prior to joining Kelvin, Paul was an attorney with
the international law firm Morrison & Foerster LLP. Paul received
his bachelor's degree from Harvard and his J.D. from Notre Dame.
